As it turns out, Colt Vahn is an amnesiac who seems to have woken up on a beach with no memory of why he’s on Deathloop’s party island, Blackreef. That’s okay though because someone has left him vague messages in the sky about what to do. Our goal in Deathloop is to take out eight Visionaries, intelligent party-lovers who’ve locked an island into one repeating day so they can piss about for eternity.

When you think of the concept of waking up on a beach with no memories of why you’re on a party island, you likely think of someone else. But we don’t actually know what happened to Colt Vahn. What we do know is that he’s on the island, and that he seems to have had a very bad day. As in, he seems to be having a very bad day.

It seems this is the case. Colt has been in hospital for some time now, and while there has been no official confirmation, it seems like he may have suffered a traumatic brain injury. It’s possible that even had he survived, his memory of his life on Deathloop would still be pretty sketchy. We’re just hoping that Colt is in no particular danger, though.

The video is still up on YouTube, but according to Reddit, it looks like Colt has been in the same coma since last year. So this is definitely something that we will have to wait and see for. But if it’s true, Colt doesn’t look too happy about it.
