French translates to “to make a joyous noise” in English. If you’ve ever seen a French movie, there’s a pretty good chance you will recognize French as the language used by the French. The idea is when a person is happy, they make a joyful noise, which sounds like a happy dance. That’s what I’m trying to convey in my review of the “enjoy in french” series.

This game is filled with French references, which makes it even more enjoyable. Im happy to report that the game will be coming to English as well soon, so I hope you enjoy the game in your native tongue.

I actually have a little bit of French on my side. Im originally from Paris, but I moved back to the States with my family after several years of living abroad. But I’ll admit it’s annoying to have to say “je pense que je suis un malade” in French. It’s not a word one would ever expect to hear in a foreign language and it doesn’t really make me feel like I’m being understood.

In English, we say “I’m sorry” or “I’m sorry I said that” (I’m sorry I said that about your daughter). We use “sorry” a lot in English, but it’s also a word that is used in French (sorry, how are you?).
