Too many chords is the perfect name for this trailer. The first half of its trailer is a lot of repetitive, boring, and clichéd music. The second half, however, has the power to make you want to pick up the guitar. The way, for the most part, in the first segment, its a boring song. But what happens in the second half is that as the song progresses it has moments of emotion, and when it is over it is the perfect song.
The fact that this trailer is too good to not believe in chords, is proof that the game is going to be one hell of a good game.
We don’t usually recommend the guitar, but it’s a good sign that the team has made the right calls with the song. It’s not a song that you have to sing, but one that you can make fun of, and is the perfect song to use to get you into the mood.
It would be great if they went back to the chord progression that made it famous. It was a great song, but it could have been so much more.
